WHO WE ARE
Together, we are stronger.
Building culture and community to support each other and non-believers.
Seeking unity in the body of Christ, instead of creating division. The greatest command is to love God and love one another.
Be authentic; live authentically. Sharing our authentic stories to build community.
ENCOURAGE & EQUIP
Equipping women to become stronger in their walk.
Be purposeful. Find and live God’s calling in everyday life.
Elevate all areas of life and find God-given significance and giftings.
To have the courage and power over fear, anxiety and shame.
Leadership and discipleship development.
Reach women for Christ.
Be equipped to find one friend. Love them like Christ loves us, and allow the Holy Spirit to move within the relationship to help bring others to Christ.
Giving is the bridge to change.
Jesus requires all disciples to give.
God’s saved people serve people.
Global giving. Stewardship assumes first and foremost a commitment to serving the needs of others.
Our Community Values
We believe in honoring God and living in faith.
We believe loving relationships should permeate every aspect of life.
We believe in a unified community of servants, stewarding their spiritual gifts.
We believe in empowering every woman, to live a life of purpose, on purpose and for purpose.
We believe in a community of women, to feel comfortable being themselves and to be and live authentically. Authentic relationships are essential to a fulfilling life. A tribe of women who are willing to work together, to elevate life.
We believe in living a vibrant, honest, and meaningful life.
We believe the transforming power of grace.
We believe in the power of story. The empowering impact of each and every story. We start by sharing our stories, usually about the times when it all went wrong and most vulnerable.
We believe in the healing power of humor and being fun-loving and playful.
We believe in hope. To be inspired, to dream, to grow and to transform hope into reality.
We believe in building, modeling and elevating community.
We believe in the yearning for continuous personal growth which is a daily process, where you grow to be more and more like Christ.
GOD LOVES US ALL
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
. . . because He created each of us and each one of us is unique. Because Jesus came to seek and to save the lost, we feel compelled to do the same. All of this wonderful diversity means we hold a variety of views. At Women of Faith, we focus on what unites us. We choose to love and to offer grace to one another. We are here to laugh with you, cry with you, and walk beside you, on your faith journey. By having a relationship with God, we choose to encourage you to deepen it. If you are in a different place right now, we choose to introduce you to a community who loves you more than you know.
You may choose to know Him better through His Son Jesus Christ (we hope you will) and it is your decision. We will continue to love you either way. Some of our Voices and leaders are Bible teachers, who share truths found in the Scriptures. Some share their own unvarnished faith stories with courage and transparency. If something you hear at Women of Faith makes you think, pray, discuss, and dig into the Bible to examine what you believe and why you believe it, we have fulfilled our purpose. The bottom line is this: God loves us. All of us. And He chooses for us to love each other.
The church is called to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and God’s reconciling grace in the power of the Holy Spirit, inviting persons to receive salvation and follow Christ as His disciples.
There is one God, who is the creator, ruler, and sustainer of all things, and eternally existent as the Trinity consisting of one essence in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God The Father
God the Father is the first person in the Trinity and the source of all that exists.
Jesus, as God’s eternal Son, is the second person of the Trinity and is fully God.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, who proceeds from the Father and Son, and is fully God.
All truth is God’s truth, and God has broadly revealed Himself through creation.
All people are individually sinners needing forgiveness, salvation from sin, and restoration to God through personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. God created man and woman, and marriage is a holy union between a man and a woman.
Salvation and Sanctification
There is only one way of salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus.
The people of God are made up of all who have received God’s gift of salvation, with Jesus as the foundation.
Love and Obedience
The greatest command is to love God, and the second is to love one another.
Christ’s Return and Eternity
We affirm the bodily, personal, second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Note: The above “What We Believe” is a summary of our beliefs. The Bible, as the inspired and infallible Word of God, serves as the final authority and source of what we believe concerning truth, morality and proper conduct.
