WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?
THE HOLY BIBLE
The Holy Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, which is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, is inerrant and infallible in the original autographs, and is the ultimate authority in determining all doctrinal truths as well as faith in practice.
There is one God, who is the creator, ruler, and sustainer of all things, and eternally existent as the Trinity consisting of one essence in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, who proceeds from the Father and Son, and is fully God.
The people of God are made up of all who have received God’s gift of salvation, with Jesus as the foundation.
LOVE & OBEDIENCE
The greatest command is to love God, and the second is to love one another.
GOD THE FATHER
God the Father is the first person in the Trinity and the source of all that exists.
Jesus, as God’s eternal Son, is the second person of the Trinity and is fully God.
All truth is God’s truth, and God has broadly revealed Himself through creation.
All people are individually sinners needing forgiveness, salvation from sin, and restoration to God through personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. God created man and woman, and marriage is a holy union between a man and a woman.
SALVATION & SANCTIFICATION
There is only one way of salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus.
CHRIST’S RETURN & ETERNITY
We affirm the bodily, personal, second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Note: The above “Statement of Faith” is a summary of our beliefs. The Bible, as the inspired and infallible Word of God,
serves as the final authority and source of what we believe concerning truth, morality and proper conduct.
