GPS: A Guide To Women Of Faith's Group Planning System
Welcome, Group Leader! We are so excited to be able to provide you with a planning tool that has been designed especially with you in mind. Here are some tips to help you get started:
GROUP MEMBERS: After you have logged into your account and explored the site a little, click on the MEMBERS tab. This is where you will see all the women who want to be a part of your group. If you don’t see anyone in this section it’s probably because you haven’t got that far yet! This brings us to our next step…
HOW TO ADD MEMBERS: You have two options as to how to get your ladies signed up both for GPS and with your group.
OPTION 1 - Set up the Group on your own:
Select MEMBERS, ADD MEMBER
Fill in the each group member's information and create a username and password for her.
Repeat for each member of your group.
If you go this route be sure to send each member know her log in information so she can get started.
They can then do a group search and request to be a member of your group. (Once they click on the link there will be a button on the right side of the screen that says JOIN GROUP)
They then will fill in all their own information and press SUBMIT.
Of course, we want you, the Group Leader, to be in the know, so an email will be sent to you each time a member wants to join your group. You are then able to approve or deny them. (Yes, you have the power!)
Approve them by logging into your account and selecting MEMBERS.
Once you have approved them, their pay button will show up and they can begin making payments.
PAYMENTS:
Once a payment has been made, an approve/deny message will be sent to you letting you know the outcome.
If the payment is approved, your MEMBER will now also be listed under ATTENDEE. This means they have paid and are definitely coming to the event.
Credit card payments are processed immediately and will show up on the payee's credit card statement (usually within 24-48 hours).
Checks – This option is really only for the Group Leader's benefit. We do not offer an electronic check option. When someone selects a check payment it lets you know that person has paid you by check or that is their method of payment. It is totally up to the MEMBER to give you their check and for you to send it in. Many group leaders collect all the checks and mail them in at one time.
Payment Plans – Group members who need to do a payment plan can make partial payments as often as they would like until the full amount has been reached.
Registrations: Any registrations that you add to your group will need to be emailed to gps@thomasnelsonlive.com We will update your GPS account to show the additional tickets.
Your Complimentary Registrations will not show on GPS but will, of course, be included when your tickets are printed and mailed.
