At Women of Faith events, we ask those in the audience to fill out a little card with their contact information. In the corner of each of those cards is printed a small box. When someone decides to put their faith in Christ at the event, we ask them to check that box. Not because we're keeping score, but because we want to celebrate that decision with them and send some materials to help explain what to do next.

It’s important for you to learn more about Christ and His promises as you begin this new phase of your life. The most important thing you can do is to study the Bible daily. Here are some tips to help you get started:
Before reading the Bible, pray. Invite God to speak to you. Don’t go to Scripture looking for your idea; go searching for His.
Not only should we read the Bible prayerfully, we should read it carefully. The Bible is not a newspaper to be skimmed but rather a mine to be quarried.
Any worthy discovery requires effort. The Bible is no exception. To understand the Bible you don’t have to be brilliant but you must be willing to roll up your sleeves and search.
Here’s a practical point: study the Bible a bit at a time. A steady diet of God’s Word over a lifetime builds a healthy soul and mind.
Another important aspect of your relationship with God is companionship with others who know and love Him. Be sure to share your decision with someone you can trust―someone who will be an encouragement to you in your new life. If you don’t already have a church home, find one. It may take a few tries, but don’t give up. The benefits will be well worth the effort.
“For it is by grace you have been saved…not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8) You have been “adopted” into God’s kingdom family. Not because you could do enough, but when you admitted you can’t do enough. You didn’t earn it; you simply accepted it.
