Women of Faith Book Club

What do you do after you blow it big-time? In the early 1990's, Sandi Patty fell head-first into an affair, a divorce, and a 10-year career hiatus. But now she’s back: singing concerts, sharing her story, and a valued member of the Women of Faith team.

How did she do it? Sandi learned the art of ‘falling forward’. Her latest book deals with what Sandi describes as, “some of the nitty-gritty details of recovering from a major life crisis,” and she promises, “we’re going to get real about how it feels to “fail” in some way.”

Patsy Clairmont has this to say about Falling Forward: “The pages ahead are full of vulnerability and kindness. You won’t feel judged, I assure you. This book has been dipped deep in God’s immeasurable love. It’s noteworthy to recognize the way we often learn how great and deep and wide the love of God is: by falling forward into His redemptive arms.”

Falling Forward welcomes us into Sandi's world of big families, busy tour schedules, conversations with women around the country, and personal conversations with God. It doesn't tell us how to live ― but it does show God's amazing creativity in using broken people to glorify Him.

I have watched my friend Sandi make her way back, not only to the safety of God’s forgiveness, but to the liberty of His calling on her life.
